Big Question: How Much To Drink Water In A Day?
It depends from person to person like what kind of environment they are living in. It also varies If a person is an active person as in if one workouts or not and what’s their sweat rate (if you’re losing water through sweat because you’re exercising, or because you’re outside on a hot day). There is this big marketing that you need to drink 7-8 liters of water a day. That’s not right, It’s just a marketing gimmick. I have seen people constantly drink water by sipping it all the time even if they’re not thirsty. It will increase the sodium level and it’s awful for your brain. You shouldn’t be doing it.
You can check it out by yourself if your body needs more water. If your body is fully hydrated then your urine kind of should look like water. If your urine starts to get deep yellow in color, It’s your body telling you that your urine is very concentrated and that you need to be drinking more water. Make sure you’re hydrated well.
An Ideal amount of water should be 4-5 liters a day for men depending on the person and weather conditions. For women, It should be around 3-4 liters but If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, You might need additional fluids to keep you hydrated. As I said It varies because of certain things which I discussed with you earlier.
The more important thing is When you need thirsty you must drink water. If you are not thirsty then you must not but you have to be drinking an adequate amount Of water in a day. If you don’t do that you will be dehydrated.
One more thing to know is that you can also get fluids from water-rich foods, such as salads, fruits, and applesauce. It will get you hydrated and super healthy.
